This route follows a canal in Hong Kou from Lu Xun Park area to the north Bund area of Huang Pu. It runs past the Russian Embassy to the Waibaidu bridge and onto the Bund. The return trip is up Zhapu Lu and Chang Chun Lu through a busy old residential area with lots of street life.
