iMapMyWALK: Day 5 - COUCH TO 5K - Jul 3, 2011 5:52 PM
Despite being on the Cape for the 4th of July weekend, and the crazy heat, I decided to head out for a run today. This was my first afternoon run and I quickly discovered how oppressive heat and humidity can be, even if the sky is cloudy! I ran a 2.3mi loop around the neighborhood. I feel like I'm starting to build up some endurance. The runs felt easier, despite the heat, and I made some progress in my distance. The only downside is that I had to run without my podcast because it wouldn't load completely... womp womp! One day away from new sneakers - a 2.3 mi running route in Dennis Port, Massachusetts
