Mt Wellington via Knights Creek Trail
Challenging but fun route with ~1200m vertical over the distance. Clay tracks on the steeps could benefit from proud-soled shoes (orienteering style). The upper third is very rocky track so some may prefer strapped ankles if they have any tendon looseness. I could have done with it, in hindsight. - a 8.7 mi running route in Hobart, Australia
