Running Clubs, Groups, and Partners: Avenue of the Giants Marathon on Sunday, May 6 - FANS needed to cheer for my friends

    Hello, runners...my friends and running-partners Kirsten and Stephanie will be running the Ave of the Giants Marathon in Humboldt County on Sunday, May 6.

    I'm sad to say that I won't be able to run it with them, nor will I be able to come up there to cheer them on.

    It'll be Stephani'es first Marathon, and when they ran 20 miles last Sunday in training, they almost didn't make it, save for a really helpful donut-break on the side of the road at mile 18.

    Now I was thinking about how absolutely fabulous it would be if I could find someone who maybe is going up there to cheer for their friends, and who wouldn't mind hanging out around mile 18 with a Posterboard ("Go Kirsten, go Steph" or something a little more creative then that) and a couple of Donuts for them!!

    :-)  

    I know this is a long shot, but I thought I'd try and see if I don't find someone...
