I'm new to MMR, and I was looking through their training tools.  I see that they have lots of training plans, but none are quite what I'm on right now.  Is there a way to create your own training plan rather than buying a pre-existing plan?

     Thanks!

You could read a lot of articles on Runners World or Running Times and you might find some tips, or a relevant plan, but the best training plan is one designed for the individual.

Thanks, but I was looking for a way to import a training plan.  I already have a plan put together, I just want to put it in the system to more easily see the workouts I have coming up.

Could you add the training plan as "recurring workouts"?

Speaking as a geek - that is as an IT professional - a standard format would need to be defined in order to import training plan. Maybe one exists already. If not, it would be really tough to do an import. I have a training plan I built for myself in Excel. Don't know what format ones purchased from or developed for free on other sites use. Lacking that standard which would make the imports possible as well as a good idea, you need to add your future workouts one at a time as Hugh-slow-at-37 suggested.

Mine training plans are excel as well. You can use some training diaries, but I don't know of any plans you can import for free. Otherwise coaches would lose out on some business. It takes 2-4 hours to build a good excel platform for the training plans, so I don't you could just find free ones. It takes a lot of work to write and create a training plan, so I don't think many coaches would give it away for free. Not even just the template. I don't.
