hi, i'll be travelling to toronto for 2 weeks. As i've signed up for half marathon, I do not want to miss any training. Is there any recommended running routes around Union Station?
I don't usually run downtown but some of the public runs on this site look okay ...

You can see Union Station on the bottom ... in the middle of the horizontal 3rd leg, blue icon between York and Bay Streets on Front Street.
We tend to track in km so, you'd be looking at 4.8 - 8 km routes. I did an advanced search for 5 - 10K routes in Toronto, used "downtown" as the key word and got 38 results. I didn't go through many of the routes in the search, but if you want to get off of the pavement, there is a boardwalk that runs along the waterfront.
Hope that helps a bit. Good luck with your half! (And welcome to TO!)
If you are near Union Station, the best run will be to head south to the lake and run west along the Lakeshore. There is a trail that runs along the lake called the Martin Goodman trail. You can do an out and back run for as long as you want. It is relatively flat and once you get a little west, there's no traffic.
While you are here, you are welcome to join our running club, Longboat Roadrunners for a run along the lakeshore on Wednesday evening or a Saturday morning run in High Park. Drop me a line at rogmoss@gmail.com if you are interested. good luck with the training!
