Help!: Latest iMapMyWalk 3.0 released today but buggy or is it me?

    Just installed the app OTA first and after problems, deleted and reinstalled through iTunes update and same issue... it crashes on entering my log in data. If I enter settings and try to send my log in data, it sits and spins and spins. I've restarted the 3GS twice after install and to no avail. Anyone else seeing this? This is the first app failure for me after all this time, so it's baffling me. Thanks

    I unfortunately have to echo dissatisfaction with V 3.0
    I'm running the latest iPhone software and REALLY enjoyed sharing as well as posting my walks to Facebook.
    As soon as I upgraded to 3.0, it crashes every time I try to log on and despite what it says in he FAQ, my info is NOT saved.

    I also tried to enter the info as fkeeney stated above and the cursor just spins endlessly. I left it for 30 minutes and it was still spinning when I came back.

    I will however give props for the "live" map so you can see where you are as well as the ability to take a picture while walking. I was just lamenting about those two
    things as features I'd like to see while talking to a friend yesterday... during our walk!

    I think if they get this straightened out, this will be a killer app... but until then, VERY dissapointing! :-(

    Hey guys, thanks for trying the new iMapMyWalk 3.0 app!  Thanks for posting your issues.  Based on your feedback, I've been able to identify and fix an issue on our servers that was causing this.  If you relaunch your apps, it should be working now.  Please let me know if this is not the case.  Sorry about the hiccup, the 3.0 release has a ton of new features, and would love to hear what you think.

    Thanks for fixing that!

    I regularly share my walks on Facebook and now that pictures can be posted to MapMyWalk as well as having the GPS map, this is oficially a KILLER APP!

    My family is able to see where I've been and what I've seen regardless of where they live which is kinda cool!

    It's still doing the same thing (crash/spin endlessly) for me.  I've uninstalled and re-installed numerous times.  I've got the updates of iPhone software as well as mapmywalk.  ACK!  Don't know what more to do.

    I'm afraid I'm like maddogwoo.  V3.0 just does not run for me.  Countless time I've tried and I just get dumped out of MMW.

    I'm having nothing but problems as well.

     The GPS will show that it's functioning and will locate me but then the app records only time and no mileage for my entire ride. This is with the phone in a pocket on my back, totally unobstructed by anything else.

     In addition, trying to save my route will only result in saving errors. I finally end up just discarding all the information.

    Is it possible to back up to the old version?????

    Is anyone listening out there??????????

     

    Love the app but the bugs are killing me and the customer service SUCKS!!!!
