Running Routes: Amsterdam Central Route?

    I'm going to be at the Crowne Plaza in Amsterdam next week, and I'm looking for a running route (~10K or so) that is not too crowded, does not involve too many busy street crossings, and includes some scenery or local points of interest.

    I found one route along the Amstel, but it starts quite far from the hotel, and I 'm not sure how to adapt it to the new starting point.

    I probably need something a little shorter, though, and I also have no idea what the area I routed myself through actually looks like.
