I just pushed 5.8 mi for the first time!  A runner I know told me that I should double my regular run on Sundays so I did.  I don’t think 58 minutes is so bad either.  I am excited that I was able to keep my legs moving the whole time and didn’t stop pace (other than a crosswalk).  I just had to tell someone!  I’m confident that I’ll do well running the 5k in late April.  :)

    Eric,

Huge congrats on the 5.8 mi!  It's an absolutely amazing feeling when you've finished and accomplished a big goal.  58 minutes is definitely not a bad time and don't let anyone tell you otherwise!

Good luck on those future runs and extending your journey further!

    Eric,

Congrats are definitely in order!  Good time and good job on the training.  You'll definitely rock the 5K with no issues!

    Good training!

You're welcome.  I always like encouragement and it seems to be in short supply in the world today.

    Eric,

That is amazing! You should be so proud... I have never run more than 2 miles without stopping, I didn't think 5.8 miles was possible.  Good luck with your race in April!  I will be rooting for you.
