Help!: Click and nothing happens

    I'm trying to map todays run (I use this site daily) and I can't get it to even start my route. I get the map (using hybrid version) but when I click on my starting point, nothing happens, no markers, no start point, no milage nothing. It started doing this a few days ago but after a few tries I was able to get it to work. Today... Nothing! Anyone else have this problem? What's up?

    Hmm, I tried to edit an old saved route and when the saved route comes up, well, it's just an empty map (no route). What's up???? Is the site "down" today??

    Kim Komando had it as her site of the day over the weekend and maybe there experiencing some high traffic.  I can't map anything either.

    Hi Folks-

     I'm sorry to hear about the problems you're having.  We don't have any current 'known' issues relating creating routes today, so the more information you can give me, the better.  I just quickly tested here with Firefox 2, IE7, and IE6, and so far haven't been able to reproduce any of these issues.  For those having problems can you please provide some more information about your system (OS, Browser version, etc)?

    OS= Windows xp

    Browser= IE7

    When I go to map new route, no matter where I click, or in what mode (hybrid, regular or satelite) nothing happens. If I double click, it recenters, but I can't start or create a route.  

    If I open an old route, the old route is mapped, but if I click on "edit" I only get the blank map and the route disappears.

     Wish there was more detail I could give you. The first time it happend it pretty much crashed my comptuer so I thought it might be on my end. But I just tried it again (for the 4th time) and my computer is fine, but still no route.

    We believe we have found and fixed this issue.  Can affected users please let us know if this is the case?  It turns out that Google updated some of their map API code, which was incompatible with some of our code.

    I see something similar in that I can see the mile markers, but not the actual route for either my Saved Runs or any new route I create. Weird.  I will post separately on this too.

    Thu 27Sep : I can't view anything of my saved runs in Firefox 2 (under XP) -- just the blue map area -- but I can view it using the IE Tab feature in Firefox.

    While I'm commenting... surely the map area used to be bigger onscreen?  I can widen it, but can we have a feature to enlarge it vertically please?

    I can't get the map to load at all.  Up pops a "the route maker is loading" message with a striped banner and that just continues to scroll endlessly.  HELP.  I am using IE7 and AOL to browse.
