any ladies out here preggers and still running through your term? i just found out i'm pregnant and don't know if I want to continue running and switch to walking. help!!
I was running regularly when I got pregnant with my first. I continued running until my knees started hurting from the added weight--somewhere in the 2nd trimester. Of course you should discuss it with your dr., but I think generally as long as you don't push too hard (which probably means shorter/slower runs) you should do whatever you are comfortable doing.
I am 4 1/2 month pregnent and I am still running four days a week, about 4-5 miles a day. Granted my pace has slowed down and I keep an eye on my heart rate but outside of that I am still in it to win it. :) Are you still running and do you have any tips for me?
