    If you are here, it means you are in. Congratulations on joining the one and only New York City Expats. We are unique in that we don't all gather at 5AM, or 7:40PM in front of some running store or a bar. We run wherever we are, but we do it s a NYC Expat.

    What does the word expat mean? It is an expatriate, voluntarily away from home. Of course, some of us couldn't wait to escape from New York, but it is where we are from, we all have this in common.

    The goal in my mind is START NOW, and do at least a half-marathon by Summer. 

     My individual goal is the New York City Marathon, and to get to that I need to be at least at 1/2 Marathon shape by summer, and capable of doing NYC by November 1, 2009.

     That being said, lets start running.
