description: Had a pretty bad asthma attack on the williamsburg bridge. My back actually hurt where my lungs are. But I kept going and am so glad I did. There are some really beautiful trails at the tip of the island. The hills got easier and no more asthma problems.

description: it is a good ride, but in brooklyn most of it is in the projects or slums, and in manhattan due to construction the stretch of fdr from 71 to 38 is closed, detour on 2nd ave which - even around 9pm -was with heavy traffic...no fun. the fdr is also dangerous as it is narrow and joggers usually run in the middle
