location: Denver, Colorado distance: 5.02 mi. | Route Type: Run created by: description: A fun flat 5 mile run in downtown Denver. Street/sidewalk running north on Lincoln to begin, which continues down 20th St to pass Coors Field and go under the train tracks on nice wide sidewalks. At the Denver Skatepark, turn left and follow the winding sidewalk along Commons Park to 15th St. Turn R on 15th and about 1/2 block down, you will see the entrance to Confluence Park across the street. Travel straight ahead to the actual confluence and a left turn puts you on the Cherry Creek Trail which parallels Speer Blvd. Take this path back to near 9th Ave where you can exit the trail, cross Speer and come back up to Lincoln on 9th. NOTE: CURRENT CONSTRUCTION AT LINCOLN AND 20TH REQUIRES CROSSING THE STREET BRIEFLY AT THAT INTERSECTION. View | Print | Bookmark | Write a Story | Tell-A-Friend | Send a Message |
