location: Kirkland, Washington distance: 2.70 mi. | Route Type: Run Tags: 215 Stairs, Lake, Pavement And Sidewalk, Quiet, Scenic, Suburban created by: description: This begins at Crestwoods park in Kirkland, Near Kirkland Jr. High. Tons of parking, bathrooms and water. Start by heading north down this "dead end" street. At the end of the street begins a stack of 215 stairs down to Forbes Creek Drive. At the end, head west toward the lake. It's a super relaxing run - very pretty and peacful. Cross Market Street, and head north to the old Kirkland bridge. Stop and the end and head back. At the end of the run, you head back up the stairs for one last butt-kicking before you're done. This is the best run for someone just getting into running and who could use a little work on the booty. View | Print | Bookmark | Write a Story | Tell-A-Friend | Send a Message |
