@cmvert: Welcome to running! I'd say make it your first goal to not overtrain and hurt yourself--stay able to keep running for years to come! For this challenge I'm running on average 4 miles at a time every other day, placed at reliable times in my schedule, but if anything feels painful I take an extra day off. Otherwise, find routes that are enjoyable to be on, and switch it up so it doesn't feel like a chore. I also like doing this as part of my training for other goals to keep me mo

I deleted a work out and it took a day to delete it from my goal miles, but it did eventually take it off. I just completed this challenge and an signing up for it again. It always updated and I got my trophy!

I am having the same problem. Total bummer when you log some good runs and look foward to seeing that you are getting closer and closer to your goal ~ and then it doesn't update.

Hey guys,
having the same problem. I am selecting interval training, which is a qualified workout for this challenge, and after the first time i entered my workout, it hasn't worked. Now it says I've only run 1 mile but I've done more. Please help, mapmyrun

I use NikePlus but this challenge is not updating. It does update on the Nike site so I suspect the problem is with this challenge or MapMyRun as a whole.

This is a great challenge to do when getting in to or in my case back into running.
i broke my ankle a few years ago and couldnt handle running distances but after the R&R needed i am back into running and the 50miles (80.47km) was a perfect motivator.
