Last year, if you rode at all, any distance, for a stage, you would get 2 points. Now, if you are not in the top 25, you get a fraction of a point. I am not clear what this fraction is. MMR are not clear about it anywhere that I've seen on their website, and I've been poring over the site obsessively for the past 2 days. These fractions are supposed to add up though. We somehow got 3 stage points on the first day. Are these and accumulation of our fractional points? Or a separate scoring system altogether? Again - I don't know, but I'm going to try and find out. Also, for some stupid reason, there is no aggregator showing our Team's results as a group, so what you have to do is click the rival button next to your team-mate's name on the Leaderboard, and then they will show up every time you access the Leaderboard. You can find your team-mates on the Team page for Marshmen, then do a filter search for them, then rival them. Anyway, even if you feel you are going to be dead last on a particular day, you should get on the bike, ride it around the block and upload - you will get points and an entry that day to win prizes including bikes. There are only a few thousand people doing this, as far as a contest goes with the number of prizes they're giving away, those are pretty good odds!
