Description of this Run

This is the 10 mile loop used by the Tampa Bay Runners club (TBR) for marathon training. It is passes through a beautiful neighborhood along the Hillsborough River with a lot of nice shady sections under mature oak trees. There are also a few sloped sections, not really hills, but for Tampa, they are noticeable elevation changes. The miles are marked in the road for pacing. It is easy to cut out some portions of the loop or cut a few corners to shorten the route to 4, 6, 7, 8 miles, etc.
