This is an undulating 5K Trail Run. Conditions underfoot are mainly compacted soil and grass track. There can be a few mucky, soft spots depending on weather conditions! Lovely countryside, forest and river views on route. Wild dear may also be spotted!\nClick the \'HYBRID VIEW\' on the the top right of the map for a good view of the course! \nDirection to get to start are: From Main Street, Blessington take the turn at the AIB Bank and drive until you hit the bridge on your right! Drive over the bridge from Blessington and take a left, heading in the direction of Manor Kilbride. Drive for approx 3.5km and take a right at T junction heading up the hill. Drive here for 2.25 km approx and the small double roadway on the left will lead down to the start of the trail. Keep on the left hand, gated roadway. There is very limited parking so carpooling is necessary. A change of shoes for after is recommended. Enjoy!!

Anto1967 Great run, thanks alot. Have been looking for some off road runs in the area and have just found this site and your routes. Have you done this one recently, I'm guessing the trail has been covered with stone for tree felling since you created this route, but what a perfect run. Thanks!
