fund raiser for morganton sheriff officer martin lawing who got shot in line of duty on dec 12,2007...
3rd 5k, pouring rain during entire run and in the low 50's...hilly with one short steep incline and a long incline...walked most of it to encourage some walkers...laughed like a lunatic at all the displaced worms and rivers of water flowing down the hills...and jumped in the puddles like a kid!!!...was a tough run for a newbie, but i made the most of it!! - a 3.2 mi running route in Morganton, North Carolina
