Description of this Run

Here are some landmarks for checking your pace. Start at traffic light by Hale School. Mile 1 just past intersection after Cedar at clump of deciduous trees. Mile 2 due S of SW corner of community center on the hill (take the next right up around the sidewalk to the community center -- you will return this way, too). Mile 3 just before 33rd Ave S. Turn around at stop sign just before crossing the street to Dairy Queen. Mile 4 just before the end of the fence on your left along Minnehaha Creek. Mile 5 at the start of the bridge by Lake Hiawatha. Mile 6 a few strides past the concession stand at the main beach on Lake Nokomis. Mile 7 at the alley on the top of the hill past Hale School (I like to end my runs with a charge up this short, but somewhat steep hill).
