Carroll ES Running Challenge #11: Runnymede ES to Charles Carroll ES
This is the eleventh of a series of 14 runs as part of the Carroll Elementary School Running Challenge. Each run starts at one elementary school and travels to the next. After 14 runs all of the 23 elementary schools in Carroll County we will have touched. One of the most popular of all the challenge runs. Several individuals ended the run saying "defnitely my favorite". From mile 3 to 6 is almost all downhill (one short hill in the middle of that). We encountered cows (and a bull), a goat, dogs, squirrels, frogs, horses birds and so much more within 15 feet of us on the run (don't worry, the bull was fenced in). Only drawback, someone stole my water stop on this run when we ran it on the hottest day in March. - a 6.5 mi running route in Taneytown, Maryland
