Description of this Run

Directions to start: drive out N81 from Blessington to Baltinglass. After Hollywood cross with the Emo garage on your left you take next left for Athgreaney. Drive along this road for about a mile and there is a forestry entrance with barrier on the left. This is start. Very seep start on the trail and the fore 2 miles are generally uphill. Keep to the main trail for the first kilomenter or so. There is a point where it splits, it looks like the main trail keeps right but you want to keep left, there is an old stine cottage at this point. At the 2 mile point there is a gate. If you want to keep going you have three options after the gate. Left takes you on boggy trail to the top of Coragh, right takes you along a trail with beautiful views but eventually leads to a farmyard. Straight keep you on a forest trail. All are out and back routes.
