Description of this Run

Start at Woodmont Triangle in Bethesda (parking lot) head south on Cap Cres Trail till end in Georgetown. Run to Thompson's boat house for ice/drinks. Then cross over small bridge to Rock Creek trail on your left after the bridge head north on trail and follow up to just before the tunnel on Rock Creek Parkway. Go through the gate on the left (back of zoological park) and follow trail around the tunnel. End up in the zoo. Follow the zoo road to the front, lower entrance of zoo. Head up through the zoo on the main walkway for about 3/4 mile to the top entrance on Connecticut Ave. Talk the sidewalk going right toward the road bridge for about 1/2 mile. Look for Firehook bakery on the Right across the street from Irish Pub, movie theatre and a Starbucks. Metro back to Bethesda;-)
