Who is Amy? That's me, a thirty something year old wife, mom, teacher, artist, nature lover....And Bee is my daughter, also known as Isabel who is five years old. Tonight Bee and I put on our shoes to take the dogs for a walk. Bee put on her sparkly, purple Converse and said she was going to put on her running shoes. Next she strapped my ipod around her wrist, not arm, and set out on course. She said she was going to jog. Ok, I thought, this will last a minute. It didn't, she jogged the entire time which was pretty long for a five year old. And she kept the best pace, her gait and form looked great, she looked like a natural born runner. We didn't exchange words during our outing, she kept the ipod on and we enjoyed a nice breeze. Do I hope for more evenings like this? Oh yeah, maybe I will even run with her ; )
