How can I participate Virtually?

  1. Simply Run or Walk the 4 miles anywhere you choose from Feb 19 to Feb 24, 2010. Read the Step-By-Step Guide
  2. Submit race distance and time at the Virtual Run / Walk for Haiti website. Results can be entered manually or via supported timing devices like Garmin, Nike+, Polar, and more.
  3. Compare your results with other virtual participants and see how you would have finished among the live participants.

Please Note: If you are a member of NYRR looking for a ING New York City Qualifying run as part of their 9+1 program, you must run the physical event in Central Park on February 20th.

New York City's Haiti Relief Fund, administered by the Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City, was established to provide a secure vehicle for donations to aid the victims of the January 12, 2010, earthquake. The Mayor's Fund, a 501(c)(3) organization, serves as an umbrella not-for-profit organization for the City of New York to aid public programs with private support.
